For You!! 150 Sales a Day Cool KDP Cut & Paste Niche

Today, I'm going to show you a KDP low content book, niche,  where the books are easy to create,  d on't have a lot of competition and have many books on Amazon selling  around 50 to 150 month.  So if you're looking to get started creating books to sell on Amazon,  to build a passive income, or you're already an established publisher,  then follow along as I explore the niche,  look at the interiors and those all important keywords to get your books found  and sold. Well,  it falls under the broad category of kids activity books and is the  cut and paste niche.  It's mainly aimed at kids in the kindergarten age group up to around the age of  eight. And if we look here on Google trends,  we can see the interest in these types of books have remained pretty constant  over the last five years. So here on Amazon,  I've put in cut and paste into the search bar and we have 1000 results,  which actually is pretty good.  It means a competition is not too high for this particular search term.  Now cut and paste would be what we call a keyword and basically a keyword is  just another word for a search term that people,  customers put into the search bar on Amazon.  So we'll get an idea of what these books are,  how well they're selling and what the interiors look like. Now,  when I am looking at books, when I am doing my niche research,  I look for three or more books with bestsellers ranks of less than 300,000.  Becasue if I find that,  then it means that books are being sold in this particular niche.  Now we'll ignore these sponsored listings.  And these first few books are actually not KDP books,  but they do have low best sellers ranks,  which tells me straight away that there is good demand in this particular niche.  So if we just scroll down and find those KDP books that are listed. Now,  I do have a free plugin installed called DS Amazon Quickview,  which gives me this information when I hover over the book' it saves me having  to click on each book, go through and find that information. It just saves time.  So we can see here. It says independently published.  That means it's published on KDP. Now it's bestsellers is 340,000,  which is quite high, but if we scroll down further,  we can start to see that we're getting these books here with lower bestsellers  ranks.

We've got one at 268,000, 94,000, 145,000.  So straight away, this satisfies my criteria.  It is a niche that people are searching for and are by buying books  in. So yes,  it'd be something I'd go and look into further and think about creating.  Now, if we scroll down even more, we've got these other books here, again,  all reasonable bestsellers ranks. And we've got got this one,  which is a KDP book with a bestsellers rank of  67,585. If we go over to tckpublishing.com,  where they've got a really good book sales calculator,  we can see that if we enter this bestseller's rank,  this book is selling between 69 to 150 books  per month.  Now based on experience from my books and how many sell per month  per the best seller's rank,  it usually is around the higher end of that range.  So 150 a month,  I think is pretty reasonable for a book that's selling at $6.99,  that's around $1.90 profit.  And that's pure royalties for each book sold.  That would come to around about the $300 mark per month,  which for one book I think is pretty good.  So let's have a look at some interiors to get an idea of what these books are  about. Well,  we we can see here there are shapes that kids can cut out and  then stick them onto an image to create a picture here.  We have some more examples and we can see that these also involve shape  recognition, counting, what shapes come next in a series.  So again, combining lots of different types of skills.  And here's another where kids would cut out these squares with a number of  bananas in and would stick the corresponding square with the number of bananas  and match it to the number on the image.  So you can see something like this would be relatively straightforward to  create. And here we have another example.  It's where kids can cut out components of an image and then stick them together  to create the image here, which we can see is an elephant. Now,  another site to get good ideas for interiors from that I often use is  Etsy. We can see,  there are a lot of sellers here selling downloadable PDFs of these  cut and paste pages that we would find in the interiors of our books.  And here again is another example.  Kids cut out these squares and stick them to the corresponding square on  the main image. Now here's just a little side note.  If you were to create one of these types of books,  you could use the pages that you create,  save them as individual PDFs,  set up your own Etsy shop and sell them on there as well.  So you're leveraging that initial work you've done to create the interior of  your book and you can now sell them on Etsy as well. And we can see here,  there's one seller,  simple life worksheets that has all these different types of bundles of  worksheets together and is selling each one for around $3.49.  And also these can give you ideas as well for different types of books,  particularly activity type books,  and the types of activities that are popular and are selling.  So that's just something else to maybe increase your income,  just to branch out a bit, diversify your income.

That's always important.  You never know,  you might wake up one day fine for whatever reason your Amazon account has been  shut down.  You've always got that option of having other sources of income as well,  which is very important with any sort of online business. Now,  when you create any book on Amazon, obviously when a customer comes along,  puts a search term into the search bar we want our book found.  Now one way to increase our chances of our books getting found is by using  keywords. Now, keywords are just another word, as I mentioned earlier,  for the search terms that people enter into the search bar on Amazon,  who are searching for particular products. Now, why are these important? Well,  these are the words that are going to be used in your title,  subtitle and seven keyword boxes in the KDP upload dashboard for your  book. And these are going to help get your books ranked in Amazon,  ideally on page one. And so get your leads or customers to see your books,  hopefully click on them and then hopefully purchase them. Now,  how do I go about finding keywords? Well, the best way is a free way.  Now, if we put in a general search term, like cut and paste,  we can see that Amazon gives us and gives customers these suggestions  here. So Amazon is actually telling us what people are searching for.  And also when customers get this list or when they're searching,  they see this list and will tend to click on these search terms as well.  Now that could mean that the ones higher up this list are more popular because  customers may tend to click the ones higher up on the list.  Now I do have an additional plugin installed called keywords everywhere,  which is a paid for plugin. And it gives me this extra information here,  which is the number of Google searches per month. And also this little graph,  which will give you the idea of the number of searches per month over the last  12 months. So that just gives us a bit of extra useful information.  Now I do also have another plugin installed called AMZ Suggest Expander,  which also gives us these extra keywords here that people are searching for on  Amazon. Now,  what I do is I get all these keywords and I just write them into a  spreadsheet. And then I put each keyword into the Amazon search bar,  like I've done here, and look at the number of search results and I'll record,  for each keyword,  the number of search results and where available the number of Google searches  per month. Now what I'm looking for really,  and this is in the All category and not the Books category.  And that's very important. I've done a video on that, which is on my channel.

And I look for those with 1000 search results or less because it means  there's not a huge amount of competition.  And you've got a good chance or better chance of getting your books ranked  highly on Amazon. Now,  if you do find a keyword that you want to use with more than 1000 search  results, then for me personally,  I'd probably start looking at using Amazon ads to get my books seen high up on  the first page of Amazon. Now, when you do put in those keywords,  what you'll find is more keywords get suggested by Amazon.  And those also going to the search bar, and again, put each one into search bar,  look at the search results. And you come up with a big keyword list,  which looks something like this.  And I've done that for this particular niche and found  109 different keywords. And I've put in on the spreadsheets,  all the Amazon search results for these. And also, as I said,  where available the Google monthly searches.  And I've uploaded this to my Gumroad shop and is actually available for you for  free. And that will give you a head start in creating these types of books.  And what I found when doing this research was there were actually quite a lot of  keywords with 1000 search results or less.  So this looks quite promising in terms of getting your books ranked highly.  Now I'm going to do a follow up to this video where I'm going to go through  creating the interiors for these types of books on Canva.  And I'm also going to create some free templates, which I'll also give away.  Thank you very much for your time. It really is appreciated.  And until next time goodbye.
